At Am-Can Business & Tech Institute, we believe that education should adapt to the student, not the other way around. As a modern secondary school preparing for our September launch, we provide a hybrid online and site-based learning experience designed to help students in Grades 9 through 12 realize their potential and achieve graduation success. Owned and operated by AM-CAN BUSINESS & LMS SERVICES MANAGEMENT LTD. Our institute is structured to nurture the academic and professional development of every student. We deliver high-quality instruction modeled on Ontario’s rigorous curriculum standards, paving the way for students to earn credits toward their Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD)

  • 1. True Continuous Intake & Flexible Enrollment We reject the boundaries of traditional, rigid semesters. Through our continuous intake model, secondary students can register and begin OSSD credit courses at any time during the school year with no set graduation schedule. Whether you are looking to study full-time, balance school with other personal commitments, or upgrade a credit under rigorous provincial standards, Am-Can gives you the flexibility to succeed on your own timeline.
  • 2. Modern Hybrid Learning Environment Our campus operates a hybrid online and site-based model to maximize flexibility and collaboration. Located physically in our modern facility at Unit B, 99 Sante Dr., Vaughan, Ontario, we provide a structured, professional space for in-person instruction, collaboration, and study. This is complemented by our state-of-the-art e-LMS portal, which grants students 24/7 asynchronous access to interactive lessons, video resources, and digital coursework.

Uncompromising Academic Standards (“Growing Success”) Our assessment, evaluation, and reporting policies are strictly aligned with the Ontario Ministry of Education’s Growing Success guideline. We use a criterion-referenced approach, which means student achievement is evaluated fairly and transparently against established provincial standards rather than by ranking students against one another. We evaluate student progress in a balanced manner across the four broad categories of the provincial Achievement Chart:
    • Knowledge and Understanding: Subject-specific content acquired in each course and the comprehension of its meaning and significance.
    • Thinking: The use of critical and creative thinking skills and processes.
    • Communication: The conveying of meaning through oral, visual, and written forms.
    • Application: The use of knowledge and skills to make connections within and between various contexts.

Seamless Record and Credit Transfers As an inspected private secondary school (BSID pending validation), all credits successfully earned at Am-Can Business & Tech Institute are fully recognized by colleges and universities worldwide. We maintain complete compliance with the Ontario Student Record (OSR) Guideline. Our central office securely establishes, maintains, and transfers your OSR, and all completed credits are permanently recorded on your official Ontario Student Transcript (OST)
